Frequency

Introduction

Making sense of frequency data from third-party sources is difficult because they tend to use different time frames or cover different areas. For example – the Spatial Literacy In Teaching site covers Great Britain whilst the Taliesin-Arlein Names site covers England, Wales and the Isle of Man. Further work will take place to look at the data for other geographic areas and to obtain data for a wider selection of dates.

Data

The data obtained to date is in two parts:

  1. Great Britain: gives an overview of the data for Great Britain as a whole
  2. York: Gives the data obtained for the City of York (Yorkshire,England)
